Festival of the Fountains
Festival of the Fountains
Each year more than 500 guests and donors gather under Pacific Science Center’s iconic arches for their annual black-tie gala event, Festival of the Fountains. The event includes a cocktail hour, seated dinner, dancing, IMAX films, Laser Shows, and access to all of PacSci’s exhibits. The theme for the event changes each year.

An Evening of Science Exploration
The 42nd Annual theme was based on a partnership program Pacific Science Center had with Sailors for the Sea called Around the Americas where a sail boat was sailed from Seattle around both North and South America. They were the first sailboat to go through the Northwest Passage, they were able to do this because of the lack of ice. The goal was to raise awareness of climate change, ocean acidification, and human impact on our oceans. Check the project out here.
An Evening Under the Stars
Under the stars and the glow of their iconic arches, PacSci celebrated their 41st Annual Festival of the Fountains. Following in the tradition of hands-on experiences, I concepted and created a working star chart that was accurate for the evening of the event.
More than $300,000 was raised for Pacific Science Center’s education programs.
I received The Seattle Show Merit Award and Honorable Mention in AAM Museum Publications Design Competition for this invitation.
